In February 2022, and again in January 2025, John and Wanda posted the same warning to Crawford’s Facebook page: freezing rain can build up on a heat pump’s fan blades and damage it, so switch the system to emergency or auxiliary heat until it passes. It’s the kind of advice that costs them a service call and saves a customer’s equipment, and they post it anyway.
